We are seeking a Back Up Security Guard - Badge Access.

Position Overview:
Wages: $18.00/hr
Shift timings: 0800-1600 or 1600-2400 (Must be available to do either shift)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site. Monitor reception area and deter vagrants and unwanted individuals and redirect them away from the site.
Update information for visitors in the system and program access badges.
Change levels of access for individuals across the country for badges.
Remove access for individuals departing the site and ensure their badge is collected.
Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Ontario Security License
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
1 year security experience creating access badges. Experience with Lenel or CCure is preferred.
Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
Ability to travel to the site via transit. No parking available.
