Google Market Acceleration Lead, Google Cloud in Toronto, Ontario

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in software sales or account management at an enterprise business-to-business (B2B) software company.

  • Experience in business development related to technology solutions (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and managed services).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing strategic C-level relationships with business and technology decision makers.

  • Experience exceeding strategic goals and delivering results.

  • Experience in all aspects of the sales process, including qualifying opportunities.

  • Ability to quickly understand technology solutions and effectively identify value to a prospective customer.

  • Ability to operate within a dynamic and fast-growing company, and adapt to changes.

  • Excellent relationship building skills with internal team members in pre and post-sales.

As a Market Acceleration Lead for Google Cloud, you will own and execute a Go-to-Market strategy for sales solutions. You will be responsible for executing the strategy through collaboration with a cross-functional group of solutions stakeholders, including Go-to-Market Practice Leads, Product Developing, Marketing, Partner, Solutions Management, and Sales teams. You will prioritize and deploy specialist teams aligned to the industry to build a pipeline and drive the development of new solution initiatives with the goal of exceeding the region’s business growth commitment by executing Go-to-Market solutions.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Go-to-Market strategy for cloud solutions, aligning with business objectives and market trends.

  • Foster a growing community, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination among customers, partners, and Google teams.

  • Oversee program development and management, ensuring the implementation of sales initiatives related to cloud solutions.

  • Conduct sales play analysis and strategic planning to identify and capitalize on opportunities for driving business growth in the market.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop inspiring programs and plans that enhance internal engagement and create organizational momentum at scale.
