Acosta Group Financial Analyst Sr in Toronto, Ontario

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting is responsible for the financial and internal operational reporting platforms for 6 Acosta Group businesssegments. This includes accurate and timely reporting, data collection, data modelling, and other ad hoc requests. The Sr. Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting will lead report design, automation and data administration for all internal reporting. They will play a key role in evolving and growing the data-driven discipline within our team and contribute toour shared success.

  5. Work with financial leaders and internal stakeholders to build and maintain it performance measurement tools (month end reporting dashboard, forecast visualization, etc.) using advanced IT technology such as PowerBI, SQL, Salesforce, Oracle Fusion

  6. Collect, inspect, cleanse, and transform complex data sets

  7. Consolidate and streamline processes to ensure maximum efficiencies are realized

  8. Remain informed on latest data trends, practice and process

  9. Self-diagnosing issues and formulating solutions

  10. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Requirements:

  11. A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, STEM, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience

  12. 1-3 years of relevant professional experience

  13. Experience in cleaning, transforming, and visualizing large data sets using software

  14. Intermediate SQL knowledge

  15. Analytical skills required - detailed data-analysis and comprehensive follow-up needed

  16. Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, project coordination skills, and prioritization of tasks. Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

  17. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with peers and leadership both internally and externally

  18. Professional attitude working in an office environment

  19. Must have previous data blending, data reporting and analysis experience with strong use of Excel and Power BI at an advanced to expert level; including working knowledge of simple and complex formulas, pivot tables, measures,and visualizations

  20. Ability to execute standard measurement strategies within a project

  21. Strong analytical and critical thinking with the ability to disseminate insight from large datasets

  22. Meet tight deadlines, prioritize workloads and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
