Jacobs Environmental Planner / Project Manager in Toronto, Ontario

We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Planner to support our Toronto, ON offices on a diverse range of projects across Canada throughout various stages of planning and delivery:
Transportation, including transit, roadway, highway and bridge projects
Water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment plants and conveyance
Other civil and land use projects
In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to these projects through activities including:
Managing environmental assessments
Obtaining environmental permits and approvals
Consulting with stakeholders and regulatory agencies
Drafting various public- and client-facing reports and documents
Coordinating public engagement
Reviewing environmental plans and reports
Supporting project pursuits and proposals
Coordinating with project teams consisting of numerous roles and disciplines, including planners, engineers, clients, subcontractors and governmental authorities

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (Engineering, Environmental Studies, Planning, etc.)
Familiarity with Ontario’s environmental assessment process
Advanced technical writing abilities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A great attitude and a willingness to learn!
