We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Global Wealth Management Technology (GWMT) – we develop and modernize technology that powers the Global Wealth Management business lines. GWE consists of a myriad of departments with high performing agile teams working closely together to deliver, support, and maintain the many applications and ecosystems within Global Wealth.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies

  • Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to developers or vendors

  • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities

  • Supports one or more highly complex business processes  

  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member  

  • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization, in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs  

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Strong communication skills – will be speaking with Stakeholders, Business Partners, Operation Teams, Developers (translating conversations into requirements)  

  • Data analysis, data mapping & data integration, ETL experience

  • SQL

  • Solid understanding of wealth management concepts, workflows

  • Strong understanding and experience with financial data

  • Being able to work in a matrix organization and work with competing priorities, will be working with multiple projects

  • Energetic and ready to move quickly

  • Agile experience (an asset)

  • Jira/Confluence/ServiceNow/Excel
