Ministry Support (Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries) Recruitment and Family Development Specialist II in Topton, Pennsylvania
Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period: Full-Time / Varied Shift / 75 hours per pay period

General Responsibilities:
- Assists in the design, development and implementation of a marketing plan to increase public awareness of, and interest in Diakon Permanency Services.
- Works with Corporate Communications to develop, design and place advertisements in accordance with marketing plan; responds to interested family inquiries within 24 hours of initial inquiry.
- Accepts telephone calls from potential applicants and shares program information while collecting information indicating the appropriateness of the applicant.
- Schedules appointments to meet potential applicants, in their home, within five (5) working days of the initial telephone contact, pending family's availability.
Childline & DHS FBI clearance results are required prior to beginning employment.
Education/Training: A Bachelor's Degree in human services or marketing normally required; Master's Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' related experience normally required.
ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
