Summary
The Evaluator I provides technical and administrative expertise required to implement Nuclear Assurance activities utilizing PVNGS Administrative Control and Technical Implementing procedures and approved schedules.
Performs audits/evaluations, inspections and/or special assignments as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
A four-year Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or other job-related field from an accredited college or university AND two (2) years nuclear plant experience in a related discipline/field;
OR a two year technical degree AND four (4) years nuclear plant experience in related discipline/field;
OR high school/GED plus six (6) years nuclear plant experience in related discipline/field.
One (1) year of experience performing quality verification activities.
Qualify for security and radiological clearances.

Nuclear Requirements
Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member.
Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage.
This includes line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities.
These are conditions of employment at PVNGS.
Major Accountabilities
Performs as an Auditor/Lead Auditor as assigned.
Performs inspections in accordance with ASME NQA-1 2008/2009a, as assigned.
Supports Quality Control receipt inspection process in support of warehouse activities when discrepancies are identified by communicating with suppliers.
Performs evaluations to assess adequate programs are established, implemented and effective.
Provides timely reporting of evaluation/verification results.
Observes and reports on the performance of activities that affect the safety of plant operations, maintenance and testing of plant equipment, and other associated activities such as design verifications.
May perform data analysis and trending to provide timely reports of analysis results.
Provides timely follow-up on problems identified and closure of corrective action documents to include evaluations of effectiveness of corrective actions.
Performs evaluations of the use of applicable plant and industry operating experience.
May provide timely analysis and recommended corrective actions as assigned.
Performs other Nuclear Assurance Program activities and special projects, as assigned.

Hybrid Role:
This position combines working in the office and at home, based on the needs of the business. The schedule will be determined with the hired employee and leadership, but the ultimate decision is the company's.
Any PVGS employees may be called upon for random Fitness for Duty (FFD) testing during scheduled working hours. Employees, if off-site, must report to FFD at Palo Verde as soon as reasonably practicable, but no more than 120 minutes after being notified. Employees who are onsite when notified will have no more than 60 minutes to report after being notified.
