What you will enjoy doing

  • You will be responsible for implementing control system solutions with oversight and guidance supporting new project execution for Linde's global leading VITRON/VPSA (low purity oxygen) and NITRON (nitrogen) Small On Site Product Line Plants: working in Small On Site requires working on and becoming proficient in all aspects of the plant control system development
  • Also, you will be participating in the execution of the commissioning of the primary control systems - e.g., simulation testing, start up, tuning, auto restart, and supervisory control in the field
  • You will generate datasheets, RFQ and PO packages for Instruments, Hardware, and Control System Panel Performing in-house setup, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems panels and PCs
  • You will be learning air separation processes to optimally implement controls and control system design
  • Assisting in and or developing project SWD, panel drawings, and P& IDs is part of your role
  • Developing and modifying PLC programs, building HMIs interfaces, building computers, testing control panels, commissioning plants, components, etc is also part of your role
  • You also will be working with internal/external clients - e.g., Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Commissioning, Operations, Customers, and Business Development

What makes you great

  • You have a BS or MS in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Bio Medical, etc)
  • Effective computer skills like Microsoft Office software, Outlook and other company and discipline specific software applications such as Intools are required
  • Background in programming and or computer science is preferred for this role
  • You own effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
  • You have effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and or willingness to learn and use AutoCad for creating, modifying, and editing Schematic Wiring Diagrams and Panel Fabrication Drawings is required for this role
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% per year is required, primarily in the US but may require travel internationally

Salary Pay Range: 60, 000 USD - 104, 000 USD
