JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Driver to join our NECO Petroleum team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving vehicles to transport petroleum to designated locations. This role requires enthusiastic attention to detail, unflappable focus, and deep knowledge of road regulations and safety requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct inspection of vehicle and equipment prior to and upon completion of fuel delivery

  • Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

  • Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery times and requirements.

  • Transport and deliver petroleum to designated locations in a timely and safe manner.

  • Adhere to company procedures for loading and unloading fuel delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records of delivery and documentation.

  • Accurate completion of driver’s log

  • Alerting dispatch of any concerns regarding vehicle care and maintenance issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a petroleum transport driver or related field

  • Clean MVR with tanker and hazmat endorsements.

  • Strong knowledge of road regulations and safety requirements.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours and schedules.
