RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited program of Practical Nursing

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Proficient computer skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse

  • BLS certification

  • Maintains required Heart Saver CPR Certification/course completion status

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Per Diem

Essential Functions:

  • Medication administration

  • Group facilitation

  • Vital signs

  • Blood glucose monitoring

  • Assisting with ADLs

  • Documentation

  • Ensuring a safe milieu through safety rounds and 1:1 observation
