We are currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Design Engineer in the Sitework Division. This position is based in the Toms River, NJ office.

Duties/Responsibilities:
This position supports the mission of the sitework Division by collaborating with the licensed engineer and preparing engineering designs or evaluations for various projects. They will be a part of the design team in the execution and management of projects.
* Design of stormwater management systems for new construction and existing developments.
* Grading or regrading of new construction and existing developments, including roads, retaining walls, swales and stormwater management basins.
* Prepare bid specifications and contract documents for new construction and repair projects, including the preparation of supporting construction documents or details.
* Perform progress inspections of construction projects and prepare construction observation reports.
* All aspects of project management, including communication with project inspectors, technicians, and clients.
Required Skills and Abilities:
* Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills and ability to use sound engineering judgement.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Demonstrated project leadership and teamwork capabilities.
* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency with computer systems to maintain project documents including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (AutoCad a plus).
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Land Development.
* 2-3 years of experience in grading and drainage design and analysis of stormwater basins.
* Experience in a construction or engineering office.
* Professional Licensure preferred.
