Job Description
Veolia WTS, Tomball, TX, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist/Manager for its Technology Center, one of the company's biggest laboratories in the US.
In this role, you will support the operation and maintenance of the facility and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure continuous operation of all facility systems through inspections, preventative maintenance, and vendor management.
Maintain and expand site CMMS system for vendor and purchase order management.
Monitor and modify systems via Building Automation System, addressing issues as needed.
Collaborate with Site Leader and EHS Manager on safety and environmental compliance.
Maintain necessary parts, equipment, and supplies for repairs and operations.
Serve on the Fire Response Team and Site Emergency Management team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in facility maintenance, vendor management, and a strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Required:
High school diploma
Experience with CMMS and Building Automation Systems
Broad knowledge of facility systems (electrical, HVAC, boilers, chillers, etc.)
Strong interpersonal, computer, and communication skills
Ability to work in unpleasant conditions and use tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, and crawl.
Desired:
Associate's degree or certifications in industrial maintenance
Capability to manage Building Automation System and CMMS
Knowledge/skills for maintenance tasks and inspecting contracted work
Experience with or ability to learn SAP.
