Compensation:
$27/HR - $36/HR
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
Assign daily tasks and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
Foster culture of safety, teamwork and accountability.
CMMS Experience helpful
Equipment maintenance and repair.
Perform troubleshooting repair and preventive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulic presses, sewing machines and other specialized machinery.
Ensure compliance with equipment maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records.
Collaborate with the production team to address urgent repairs and minimize downtime.
Overseas, the maintenance and repair of the facility, including HVAC plumbing, electrical and structural systems.
Monitor and manage energy efficiency and facility safety standards.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reduce costs through the process, enhancement or upgrades.
Work with engineering and production teams to implement new machinery or processes.
Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, supplies, ensuring availability to minimize downtime.
Monitor and manage the maintenance budget recommending cost effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with OSHA company safety standards and environmental regulations.
Conduct safety training and risk assessments for the maintenance team.
Lockout, tag out and arc flash training.
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Bedding industry experience preferred
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Previous maintenance experience within the mattress industry a plus
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and maintenance software.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working in industrial environments.
Comfortable working in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
