Senior Business Finance Analyst, Roofing Location(s): Toledo, OH, US, 43659-0001 Function: Finance and Accounting Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: Hybrid Requisition ID: 62229 PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Roofing Senior Finance Analyst partners with Commercial leaders to provide financial analytics that drive business results in support of the short-term and long-term value of the Roofing and Asphalt Business (R&A) segment. The position serves as the lead financial support for the Home Center team, linking financial results to operational performance drivers. The position primarily interfaces with field sales, marketing, and pricing operations driving continuous improvement to deliverables and processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a dynamic leader within the business by providing valuable decision support analysis and driving business success. Span of Control: Individual contributor. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Influence the performance of the business segment - Partner with Home Center team as the lead financial support for the roofing and components business.Interface directly with sales and marketing leaders to build robust operating plans and measure business performance. Create weekly reporting and provide insights into drivers of results.Areas of focus include: price, sales volumes, product mix, customer out the door sales, and inventory positions. Synthesize results to identify risks and opportunities and communicate insights to the Home Center team and R&A leadership. Analyze shingle markets across channels; assess competitive activity & volume/share positions and forecast price & revenue. Prepare financial modeling, business case analysis, and financial/management reporting to retain and gain new business. Gather, compile, analyze, prepare, and summarize data for complex financial projects/subjects ex financial studies to define performance plans for short and long-range business segment goals. Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions/opportunities and advise management accordingly to ensure targeted financial performance achievement. Exercise judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepare business recommendations based on sound financial analysis.
