CIFT Employee Relations / Accounting Clerk in Toledo, Ohio

This position is a combination of employee relations, which is most critical, and accounts payable duties to support our finance department. Focus is placed on the recruitment of new hires, employee engagement, company culture, policy and procedures, compliance with labor laws, performance reviews, and discipline, along with benefit programs and yearly elections. From the accounts payable perspective there will be invoice processing, banking oversight and reconciliations, assistance to payroll functions, company audits, inventory, and yearly 1099's.

An ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have good oral and written communication skills, be proficient in 10 key calculators and computer skills, along with having exceptional interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Acumatica software would be helpful but not necessary due to ease of use. 

A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a similar field of study along with five years or more of experience is required. Time management and organizational skills along with professionalism driven by integrity, communication skills, and passion result in a rewarding job experience.

The position is based in Toledo, Ohio, where a hybrid work schedule is in place but this role will require more time in the office due to workload, record keeping, and open-door policy for staff. A typical work week is 1^st^ shift Monday -- Friday. This is a full-time salary position with competitive pay and benefits based on education and experience.
