ProMedica Health System Credentialing Coordinator - Central Verification - Full Time in Toledo, Ohio

The Credentialing Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to compiling credentialing information, processing applications, payer enrollment requests and inquiries for professional billing and maintaining accurate information in the credentialing database.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise

  1. Ensures credentialing applications are completed accurately according to accreditations and regulations.

  2. Gathers, verifies, and maintains all credentialing information and ensures accurate entry into the credentialing database in a timely manner for both initial and re-credentialing applications.

  3. Works with various contracted payers to complete and maintain accurate enrollments for physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) for professional billing reimbursement.

  4. Ensures enrollment information is completed and entered into the credentialing database accurately and timely.

  5. Develops reports for monitoring, tracking, and reviewing various information for accuracy and timeliness for completion.

  6. Makes decisions and recommendations based on complex and sensitive issues often based on limited information.

  7. Possesses strong communication, listening, observation and persuasion skills.

  8. Possesses strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Must organize workload to meet constant deadlines.

  9. Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range- min- $15.00 mid- $23.00 max- $32.00 Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Skills: Must have strong communication, listening, observation and persuasion skills. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Must organize workload to meet constant deadlines. Must be able to problem solve.

Years of Experience: 2 years

Prior experience in medical staff and/or payer credentialing. Familiar with insurance contracts. Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.). Familiar with Adobe
