Amazon Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Marchant Fulfilled Network (MFN) in Tokyo, Japan

Description

The Marketplace business, one of Amazon’s most important growth engines, is looking for a talented product marketing manager to design marketing solutions for newly launching game changing product in Japan.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on product marketing manager relentlessly focus on Customer and Seller, build trust and collaborate with cross-functional global teams and stakeholders, successfully navigate through ambiguity, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and is comfortable handling multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritizing properly. Also required are strong leadership and communication skills, willingness to work autonomously, project management experience, creativity, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

The business coverage is broad, and you will: 1) identify and prioritize what matters most for the business, 2) quantify what is (or is not) working, and 3) own and drive marketing solutions for new product launches by building Branding and Go to Market plan with dedicated Account Management team.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work closely with multi function, multi location stakeholders to understand their customers, their goals, and their approach, combining with Amazon data and goals to develop a GTM strategy and execution plan.

  • Lead, influence, and execute through partner GTM plans working across multiple stakeholders and contacts within the partner’s internal teams.

  • Dive deep on the both Customer and Selling Partner journey to identify and size new growth and engagement opportunities for marketing to address.

  • Define, develop, launch, and automate marketing initiatives for newly launching product.

  • Engage target Selling Partners with newly launching product by developing a pitch based on the Selling Partner's goals and working with the Account Manager to sell-in, negotiate gives/gets, and get Selling Partner signoff.

  • Regularly review Selling Partner facing content, audit marketing channels, and track performance of initiatives to accelerate adoption of the newly launching product, identify break/fix issues and find growth opportunities.

  • Own key growth goals, driving cross-functional workstreams across a range of global stakeholders to deliver results.

  • Write insightful, actionable, and data/customer centric business review and strategic documents to influence senior leaders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

  • Fluency in Japanese and English

  • Ability to write compelling English business documents and to verbally communicate with senior executives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • An MBA is preferred
