Interested in innovating to deliver world-class service to Amazon's Selling Partners? The Amazon Marketplace Paid Services (AMPS) program is designed to improve the Selling Partner experience selling on Amazon and accelerate growth through holistic account management by AMPS Merchant Consultants working directly with Selling Partners to increase the value, choice, and convenience of their business. Our team will invent and innovate through technology, expand programs to improve Selling Partner engagement and satisfaction, and enable global solutions by working with the US, EU and China teams. AMPS is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Retention to develop and scale our Paid Services business launched in 2020. This role will be responsible for continuously improving Selling Partner experience by enhancing AMPS programs to dynamically grow our Selling Partner business. You will be expected to improve the Retention of AMPS Selling Partner through developing new retention mechanisms and services. You will be working with cross-functional teams and colleagues in JP, US, EU and China. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to scrutinize ambiguous situations, define and build logic and mechanisms based on large data sets, owning the projects end-to-end with multiple stakeholders, and deliver results.

Key job responsibilities

  • Improve Selling Partners retention and satisfaction with AMPS programs and Merchant Consultants based on in-depth, data-driven analysis.

  • Monitor and improve the Seller retention, continuously validating and improving their experience and business growth.

  • Collaborate with domestic and global teams to actively incorporate their best practices and identify and prioritize high-impact improvement opportunities.

  • Independently drive projects from end to end to deliver results, working with multiple stakeholders.

  • Responsible for documentation for new project launches, business reviews and annual plans.

  • Operates independently and seeks leadership input / guidance on decisions impacting the broader business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 5+ years of defining and implementing growth initiatives using data

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap definition

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive recommendation/analyses

  • Experience in partnering with business owners to understand requirements and develop supporting analysis

  • MS Excel fluency

  • Business level English and Japanese language skills (verbal and written)

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
