In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing customer data, defining customer cohorts, identifying pain points and leading the launch of features that enhance or create new customer experiences and drive significant improvements in business performance. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with data, develop strategy and then drive execution with cross-functional teams. This role comes at the intersection of data analytics, marketing and tech.

You will be the strategic point of contact with worldwide Amazon business, operations and tech teams, and must therefore be confident liaising with global business and technology teams at senior leadership levels.

The ideal candidate has a strong customer experience background, intuition, business and product sense combined with first class data skills. You must also be passionate about building and iterating indirectly through cross-functional teams. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Obsess and become the champion of JP Books customer experience

  • Dive deep into customer data to identify key cohorts and pain points

  • Define a roadmap of high impact growth features

  • Develop clear business and product requirements

  • Lead strategic reviews and prioritisation discussions

  • Work with tech teams to launch features

  • Build strong relationships across WW Books and Amazon JP partner teams.

  • Ability to work with sensitive content, including culturally sensitive and adult content

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Data analysis including advanced SQL queries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Japanese language preferred
