Fortive Corporation FCAL Sales Director in Tokyo, Japan

Job Overview:

Responsible for the strategic development and management of the Fluke Calibration (FCAL) business, which involves selling Company products directly and/or through designated distributors and manufacturing representatives.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develops, presents, implements, and manages strategic sales efforts to meet sales plans and forecasts.

  • Recognizes and capitalizes on all go-to-market opportunities for profitability and business growth.

  • Builds a strong sales team and recognizes talent through coaching, feedback, and support.

  • Develops a clear vision for the future of the business or organization and conveys clear purpose and direction.

  • Creates an environment within the sales organization that fosters development, promotions, and continuous learning.

  • Maintains balance within the sales organization, ensuring proper attention to all routes to market and product lines.

  • Ensures administrative functions and resources at the field level provide customer satisfaction and optimize orders.

  • Prepares the annual business plan and manages the budget for the assigned operation.

  • Coordinates and communicates sales activities as appropriate.

  • Anticipates risks and devises contingency plans to manage them.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Extensive travel and extended hours as required.
