Description

The AMPS (Amazon Marketplace Paid Services) program is designed to improve the customer and Selling Partner experience on Amazon by empowering Merchant Consultants to work directly with Selling Partners to enhance the value, selection, and convenience of their businesses. Our team will invent and innovate across technology, process, and people to grow the program, improve seller engagement and satisfaction, and enable solutions through direct collaboration with global teams.

AMPS is looking for a highly motivated Program Operations Manager, Offshoring & Execution, who will be responsible for enhancing the work efficiency and experience of Merchant Consultants and Selling Partners throughout Offshoring and AI/Automation initiatives, collaborating with internal and external organizations. You will be expected to develop an improvement plan to achieve business outcomes based on a clear analysis of the gap between the current state and future goals, playing a key role in developing our portfolio of Paid Services solutions with cross-functional teams across the US, EU, and China.

The ideal candidate will have proven program or operations management experience and the ability to optimize processes and build structures that deliver sustainable results. The candidate will also be highly autonomous and have a track record of taking end-to-end responsibility and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Establish/Improve processes through Offshoring, AI/Automation or in alliance with other teams/organizations to maximize productivity of AMPS sales teams (Merchant Consultants, Recruiters)

  • Improve SPX through the execution of operational support for Selling Partners and contribute to increased SP enrollment and decreased SP attrition

  • Own and implement the roadmap to drive efficiencies for AMPS sales teams and Selling Partners while continuously identifying opportunities

  • Work with both internal and global teams to identify and prioritize high-impact improvement opportunities based on in-depth data analysis

  • Lead process improvement projects to address key cross-functional issues impacting Selling Partners

  • Design and implement operational excellence improvement mechanisms

  • Drive consistency in process and reporting across functional teams

  • Build relationships and identify with stakeholders across the organization, including global teams

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or operations management experience

  • 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams

  • 3+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics

  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and Basic SQL skills

  • Experience identifying business insights and requirements based on data analysis

  • Business level English and Japanese language skills (both verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading projects with global teams

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Hands-on experience creating complex, highly optimized SQL queries from large data sets

  • Experience with data visualization software (such as AWS QuickSight or Tableau) or open source projects

  • Advanced knowledge in AI and automation
