Google Market Human Resources Partner (English, Japanese) in Tokyo, Japan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.

  • Experience in HR in two of the following areas: organizational design, succession planning, business consulting, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to support client relationship management in Japan and APAC.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and driving decisions with multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.

  • Work with the relevant teams to ensure delivery for our Human Resources (HR) processes in the country.

  • Solve compliance matters and review local policies in the context of the market.

  • Work with the compliance team, process ownership team, user support team, and the relevant Center of Excellence (COE) teams on prioritizing and mitigating market related risks.

  • Provide local context and advice on key HR related matters.

  • Support local labor management councils and engage with external labor bodies.
