Job Description

Project Manager, Renewable Project Management

Position Overview As a Project Manager, Renewable Project Management, you will provide technical guidance to business development efforts and support advanced development and construction for renewable energy projects. You will be responsible for managing projects from advanced development and construction to achieve commercial operation and supporting the technical needs of projects in development.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical engineering study associated with wind project development

  • RFP preparation, technical reviewing of deliverables and contract negotiations for BOP electrical work

  • Electrical design, technical reviewing of construction methodology and cost evaluation for BOP electrical work

  • RFP preparation (mechanical and electrical), technical reviewing of deliverables and cost evaluation for OEM

  • Technical discussions in terms of specifications and design after turbine selection and discussions about interface management, technical reviewing of construction methodology and const evaluation

  • Establishing of O&M plan and const evaluation in terms of turbine and BOP electrical facilities and support for development team

  • 【Requirements】

  • Work experience in renewable developers or electrical BOP contractors for electrical designing and construction of power plants

  • Leadership skills, excellent solution ability

  • Work experience in development, construction, and O&M of wind projects

  • Work experience in electrical engineering associated work for wind projects

  • Work experience in negotiation of wind turbine procurement and O&M services

  • Broad knowledge and skill to proceed wind projects other than electrical engineering and master degree

  • Qualification related to Japanese electrical construction management engineer and/or Japanese electrical chief engineer

  • English proficiency (Even if you do not have sufficient English proficiency at the moment, we welcome those who are willing to acquire English proficiency through work. We have bilingual staff in the company and a backup system).

    • Cost reduction study of electrical work

  • Communication with internal team (Tokyo) and head office (Chicago)
