Manager – Lending Marketing
The manager is responsible for growing and managing the Consumer and Small Business Services (SBS) Lending portfolios by developing and implementing marketing strategies.
Specifically, the role focuses on planning and executing marketing programs and developing and optimizing marketing communications for both revolving and installment products.
Lending is strategically positioned to triple in size from the current outstanding balance over the medium term and this is an exciting career opportunity to drive business growth with significant investment behind it.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the Consumer and SBS Lending portfolios
Plan and execute marketing programs to activate new users and increase the average balance per user
Develop and optimize marketing communications for both revolving and installment products
Track the performance to identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with the Lending Center of Excellence (CoE) team to apply the best marketing practices across the company
Apply risk policies to marketing offers, working closely with the Credit and Fraud Risk team
Meet local regulatory requirements, working closely with the General Counsel’s Office (GCO) and the Compliance teams
Ensure that excellent customer handling operations are in place, working closely with the servicing teams
Serve as the people leader for the team, to manage and develop team members
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in marketing – digital marketing experience is a plus
Good knowledge of Installment Sales Law and Money Lending Law
Proven team worker with experience in working in cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and negotiation skills
Native level of Japanese and business level of English
Able to manage multiple tasks with good time management
Proven experience in a leadership role
