Job Description - Tektronix Korea Japan Finance Specialist

We are hiring a Finance Specialist to support region controller. This position is responsible for Tek Japan AR/AP accounting. This position reports to Japan/Korea region controller.

1. Accounting and Finance: Products and Service business

• Sales tax invoicing,

• AR/AP bookkeeping, monthly financial closing with the China Shared service, Global finance, and local finance.

• Expense claims/intercompany netting settlement.

• Prepare accounts reconciliation and support annual balance sheet review.

• Prepare/support any quarterly report requirement.

• Ad hoc / General Finance administration.

2. Tax, Bank, Audit, Corporate secretarial

• Support CTR

• Support/prepare any legal, banking corporate secretarial matters.

• Support/prepare statutory audit to meet local and group requirements.

• Transactional tax (both booking and filing)

• Complying with regulations

3. Internal Controls and SOX compliance

• Perform SOX tests

4. Others

• Drive the implementation and improvement of the internal standard works and control framework with guidance from finance controller.

• Any other matters as may be assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• 4 years Bachelor’s degree with finance, Accounting, or Business Administration: CPA/AICPA a puls.

• Business level English proficiency in written and spoken skills are required.

• Experienced in any ERP systems; Oracle will be preferred.

• Proficient in MS package, especially in excel.

• Energetic with “Can Do” & “Commitment” mindset.

• You are a fast learner and willing to achieve new skills.

• You are a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines: self-motivated, responsible, and reliable.

• You have proactive mind set with the ability to both identify and find solutions to problems.

• You are willing to work in an international environment.
