This position reports to Commercial Finance Director Japan and is based at Tokyo.

The team you will join
Kenvue Finance is responsible for orchestrating company-wide financial initiatives managing such as short term and mid-long term business planning, developing long term strategy. such as business planning, and provides decision support to management through business analysis, risk and opportunity management.
The Finance Organization of Kenvue consists of various departments: Business Unit Finance (BUF), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Compliance, Tax.
BUF role would focus on specific Business Units (BU) to drive top line sales and providing data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize resource allocation. FP&A oversees total company performance, orchestrates company-wide financial initiatives such as business planning, and provides decision support to management through business analysis, risk and opportunity management. The BUF Position would report to Commercial Finance Director and have 1-2 finance analysts reporting him/her.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Finance leadership on Go-to-market/channel/customer initiatives, new launches/whitespaces, Value chains. Drive optimal APAC Cost-to-serve Analyses across channels and assess optimal ROI / spending efficiencies across Channel/customer investments (CIW, SG&A, CME, Gross to net) to deliver profitability targets. Develop Channel recommendations and track/drive execution to unlock key value growth opportunities. Perform external financial benchmarking, best practices and create an actionable plan to implement
Lead and partner cross-functionally to drive Value creation workstreams including RGM, COGs and Cost to serve distortion across core brand-market combinations in Japan. Unlock insights and actions through analytics (price benchmarks, promotion effectiveness etc). Lead ideation, strategy, execution and delivery of RGM and key profitability initiatives, while also ensuring the link to management reporting, forecast and results.
Partner with Regional and local partners to deliver Quarterly/FY Sales targets and in-process performance measures (e.g. Optimal Trade Inventory DOS/$, CIW, Cost-to-serve, Cash DSO, SLOBs etc.), across key channels, markets and customer. Make recommendations to the Business to balance risks & opportunities to meet companys fiscal targets.
Lead and shape Japan Long-range Growth model and strategic choices across the full portfolio of channels/brands. The role will drive the APAC 3-5Y strategy planning process, partner across the cross functional team, regional franchises and stakeholders to develop and influence how- to-play and where-to-play priorities and strategies, to deliver growth objectives on both top and bottom line. Ensures smooth linkage between short- and long-term P&L and strategic plans
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis & Business Finance
Strong analytical skills with high IT literacy & strong skills in PowerPoint, Word and excel
Be open and embrace the changes, ability to adopt to changing business situations
Manage conflict in the tough business situations
Ability to present complex information and analysis in a clear and concise manner
Proven time management skills and able to multi-task effectively, executing with speed as well as high levels of efficiency.
Exceptional organizational building skills to lead and motivate team members to achieve common goals.
Strong and fluent English & Japanese written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working in a multinational company desirable.
Proven ability to work through ambiguity and process design & improvement experience
Use of Reporting Tools, Software (i.e. SAP, One Streams, Tableau, BI dashboard etc.)
Experience in Consumer Product Industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, business administration or a related field.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and across a matrix organization (different verticals within finance and cross functional teams in market/ region)
