Google Business Analyst, gReach Program for People with Disabilities (English, Japanese) in Tokyo, Japan

*This role is exclusively for people who have a government-issued disability certificate.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience with sales strategy or operations consulting.

  • Experience in working with data to identify trends, patterns and to make recommendations in a client-facing environment.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to communicate with internal / external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building and automating reporting dashboards.

  • Experience implementing complex strategic and operational or related initiatives.

  • Experience in SQL, databases and database manipulation.

  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-moving environment with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent business acumen, with the ability to navigate and influence stakeholders in a complex business environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and project management skills.

The gReach Program is a 12 months paid upskilling program for industry professionals with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects. The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals

In this role, you will partner with sales leadership to provide actionable insights, use a data driven approach to sharpen decision making, and drive understanding of our growing business. Combined with the resources of Salesforce, our insights translate directly to accelerated growth and improve Google’s ability to serve its Cloud customers at scale.

  • Partner with leadership teams to develop the team’s business plan, business insights, process improvement and go-to-market strategy, becoming management’s trusted advisor.

  • Influence executive level decision making through insight into core business decisions such as prioritization of growth opportunities.

  • Leverage Google’s reporting systems to drive scalable analysis of business growth drivers and trends. Craft and present sophisticated quantitative analyses to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Participate in, and help to manage, global initiatives as appropriate, ensuring that they are rolled out effectively to the team.

  • Drive operational improvements for the team, including optimizing resource allocation across partner sales teams, measuring progress against strategic goals, and facilitating management discussions and decisions.
