Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement all retail marketing materials with best-in-class execution for target audience in target retail channels by working with Sr Trade marketing manager.

  • Utilizing shopper and retail insights and research to develop retail execution campaign and/or plans with the sales and brand marketing teams.

  • Utilize and adapt global campaign materials to implement across touchpoints, as well as briefing and developing tailored assets, when needed, with relevant agencies.

  • Planning to a set calendar of campaigns and priorities and ensuring the target levels of executions are achieved each month.

  • Ownership and management of the retail marketing budget for each campaign and channels/Retailers.

  • Evaluation of key BTL campaign executions to ensure we live a continuous improvement approach and achieve the strongest possible return on investment.

LEGO Japan is one of the key markets for APAC region of The LEGO Group. Our organization consists Sales, Marketing, Operation, Finance and HR department, and the size of the organization is approximately 60 including temporary workers.

Marketing team is made of 5 teams; Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing, PR & Partnership and Marketing Planning.

Trade Marketing team’s purpose is to drive sales performance through the best possible brand experience in retail, engaging and inspiring our shopper and consumers.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience in sales & marketing in consumer goods or lifestyle brands.

  • Experience working with the external agencies to develop assets for retail and brand campaigns.

  • Have strong understanding “Audience First” approaches and experiences in working large scale integrated marketing campaigns even as a part of the project team.

  • Strong project management skills experience working in a very fast paced environment while maintaining acute attention to detail and get things done at high quality.

  • Strong capabilities to collaborate and influence internal cross-functions and external agencies to overcome obstacles.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese (Business Proficiency) and English to collaborate with colleagues globally.#LI-SW1
