About Us
VCA Anderson's Corner is a multi-doctor small animal practice in Toano, Virginia. We see dogs, cats, and exotic species, offering a variety of services including Primary Care, Surgery, Dentistry, and Ultrasound. We also utilize visiting Cardiology and Internal Medicine specialists.
We are open Monday through Friday 7am - 6pm, Saturdays 7am - 2pm, closed on Sundays.

About the Role
As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:
Compassionate patient care
Client education and care
Venipuncture and catheter placement
Radiology and diagnostics
Lab sample collection and processing
Surgical preparation and assisting
Dentistry
Medication preparation and administration
Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Medical recordkeeping
Qualifications
One or more years of small animal veterinary assisting experience
Able to proficiently perform veterinary assisting skills including duties listed above
Compensation for this position starts at $15/hr and up depending on level of skill and experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
