Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

Within the TIME Innovative Medicine (IM) organization, the Trade Compliance Lead for Process, Integration, & Data is responsible for serving as the main point and will be accountable for implementing the strategy, encouraging alignment, driving innovation, and maintaining the process blueprint for the IM Trade Compliance process in support of the TIME S4 program. The Lead will be an integral core team member of the Logistics & Trade Leadership team reporting into the global template owner for Logistics and Trade.

Key Responsibilities:

IM TIME Trade Compliance:

  • Drive global S/4 HANA core capability standardization, alignment, and adoption, ensuring alignment with TIME future state blueprint.

  • Act as a Change Champion within Trade Compliance & Customs community to drive standardization and process harmonization.

Design and Implement Processes:

  • Design, build, validate, and deploy Trade Compliance & Customs processes globally while ensuring integrity with the global template.

  • Maintain a global and business-focused demeanor when leading blocking issues, developing solutions, and risk mitigation strategies.

Operational Testing:

  • Lead and own the execution of day-to-day operational business simulation and user acceptance testing activities.

  • Implement a standard approach using established testing tools and support quality compliance system validation.

Partner Management:

  • Collaborate with the IM Distribution, Transportation & Trade Compliance Global Process Owner, and sub-function teams to set priorities and establish an integrated process that meets business needs.

Training and Documentation:

  • Provide insights and support for training and compliance documentation, ensuring ongoing updates and maintaining comprehensive business process knowledge.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of 1 to 5 people.

Emerging digital technologies and opportunities:

  • Shape innovation with an outside-in approach via white papers, webinars, and provide leadership with insights on critical processes.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree required; Master's or focused degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related areas preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum eight (8) years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in Supply Chain Trade Compliance & Customs Processes, Technology, and Strategy

  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain processes and management, including Commercial as well as R&D, particularly in trade compliance

  • Experience leading/managing/developing people (direct or indirect reports)

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity while achieving business outcomes

  • Proven conflict resolution skills and resilience in challenging situations.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively

  • Proficient communication to create clear and concise messaging to leadership and the ability to work well in teams, across functions, and with all levels of the matrixed organization, as well as both internally and externally

Preferred:

  • Experience within S/4 HANA and associated systems to lead all aspects of Trade processes

  • Experienced knowledge of IM / Pharmaceutical business processes and requirements

  • PMI, FPX, or equivalent Project Management Certification(s)

  • Experience, training, and/or certification in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt desirable)

Other:

  • Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally

  • Requires up to 25% domestic and international travel

  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 USD to $207,000 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
