About the Company:

Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.

CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:

Manage staff and maintenance requirements for the facility on a grounds, equipment and vehicles. Work in collaboration with the facility Program Director to identify areas of preventative care .

Essential Duties:

Inspect the facility on a regular basis to ensure that the grounds, facility, equipment and vehicles are maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures and all hazardous are properly identified.

Establish an effective preventative priority maintenance program for the internal and external areas of the facility to include painting, maintaining facility equipment, floor and carpet cleaning, ground maintenance etc. as required.

Perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile flooring and laminating work.

Maintain twenty-four hour on-call availability.

Required Qualification:

High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Valid Florida driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

Supervisory experience preferred.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Hourly/ $30.00
