Resideo Sr HSE Engineer in TIJUANA, Mexico

Join an organization that demonstrates a proactive health and safety management system, combined with a continuous improvement environment. You will be a key professional in the HSE&F function. You will drive key activities and HSE&F performance metrics for the manufacturing site. You will accomplish this by establishing strong working relationships with the employees. You will report directly to the HSE manager. You will play a key role directing sustainable health and safety programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes and keeping in front of leading practices in health and safety standards. Integrate, monitor, and support Health, Safety programs to ensure compliance with the applicable guidelines, procedures, and regulations Incorporate continuous improvement at the sites using Resideo's Health and Safety initiatives through Resideo's Operating System activities.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Implements HSE&F standards

  • Directs industrial safety and hygiene programs to prevent or correct hazardous or unhealthy working conditions.

  • Provide technical assistance

  • Supports in keeping the company's contingency plan up to date in coordination with federal, state, and municipal authorities, establishing the emergency plan.

  • Ensures compliance standards

  • Hazardous waste identification and development of risk analysis.

  • Effective coach and role model

  • Deploys safety initiatives

  • Investigates workplace accidents, determines their causes, and recommends corrective measures.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 5+ years of experience as HSE in manufacturing industry.

  • Strong English communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge in management systems ISO 45001 / 14001.
