Location/Division Specific Information

This role has global responsibility for cybersecurity integrations and automation within the Corporate Infrastructure & Security (CIS) team.

Discover Impactful Work:

This position plays a key role in crafting and maintaining custom applications and systems to protect, detect and respond to security threats on-premise and in our multi-cloud environment. You will work within a team of software engineers following Agile methodologies to develop, deploy, and maintain systems and solutions supporting cybersecurity analysts, engineers and architects.

A day in the Life:

  • Develop, test, and deliver high quality software (primarily in Python)

  • Work directly with cybersecurity teams and senior developers to deliver innovative solutions

  • Integrate enterprise grade security products, services and data

  • Maintain and improve existing software solutions

  • Gather, analyze, and transform security data

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

  • Relevant technical certificates or equivalent work experience acceptable

Experience

  • 2+ years of software development using Python in an Agile environment

  • Experience interacting with software endpoints using HTTP, REST, SOAP, or similar

  • Exposure to cloud services such as AWS Lambda, S3, SQS, etc.

  • Prior experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Demonstrable ability to develop and debug software

  • Solid grasp of software version control and release management

  • Understanding of compute, network and storage infrastructure components

  • Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL) and SQL language

  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub

  • Attention to detail and interpersonal skills

  • Object Oriented design
