Aerotek Facilities Maintenance Technician in Tigard, Oregon

Description:

• Inspects property daily and identifies any potential hazards, damage, repairs and improvement opportunities.

• Provides coverage to the properties during some weekends and holidays.

• Monitors and reports the daily performance of the housekeeping and security staff.

• Performs basic repairs to plumbing, lights, door hardware, cement repair, woodwork, painting, etc. in a timely and efficient manner.

• Works in conjunction with other maintenance staff on larger projects often requiring a team of two or more.

• Maintains weekly lighting reports

• Provides ongoing preventative maintenance to property vehicles, compactors, water features, RMUs, etc.

• Assists marketing department with execution of center events, holiday preparation and on-going maintenance of signage hardware.

• Responds to daily requests for assistance from management, tenants and contractors.

• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum of one year(s) facilities maintenance experience performing basic carpentry, mechanical, and plumbing functions. Shopping center maintenance experience preferred.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to read and interpret documents and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively present information to departmental management and tenants.

• Ability to define problems, collect information and establish facts.

• Must have basic computer skills.

• Must have a valid Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle
