Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various aspects of our commercial mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and forecast project-level financials and report to executives at regular intervals.

  • Coordinate with field supervisors, foremen, fabrication shop foremen, VDC/CAD/Detailing personnel, project engineers, and project accountants.

  • Produce and manage project schedules.

  • Handle change management, including assembling estimates, budgets, and proposals.

  • Manage subcontractors and vendors.

  • Negotiate contracts.

  • Attend project meetings.

  • Mentor subordinates.

  • Manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and prospects for future opportunities.

Essential Skills

  • Commercial construction experience.

  • Project management skills.

  • Construction management expertise.

  • Mechanical construction knowledge.

  • Contract negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in Procore.

  • Project scheduling capabilities.

  • Experience with HVAC, piping systems, plumbing, change orders, and RFIs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or completed apprenticeship required.

  • 3-10 years of project management experience for a mechanical contractor.

  • Experience with project management software.

This position is fully in-office with no remote work options. The company is privately owned, offering a large company experience with a family feel. The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00
