Job Description:
As a Mill Machinist with 5 Axis Experience, you'll set up and operate 5 Axis CNC machines to meet inch and metric drawing specs. You'll be a technical expert, optimizing processes, troubleshooting, and working with engineers to deliver high-quality results.
What you’ll do:
Set up and operate 5 Axis CNC machines for flat, contoured, and formed parts.
Act as a technical resource for tooling and machining capabilities.
Evaluate and justify new tooling and machining processes.
Communicate issues related to work orders, programming errors, and material shortages.
Focus on reducing material, labor, and scrap.
Comply with manufacturing safety practices.
Lead large projects from start to completion.
Mentor and train junior machinists.
Document red lines and perform R&D work.
Maintain a clean work area.
What you bring:
High school diploma/equivalent or AA in Machine Technology.
Good math skills (trigonometry).
Experience machining plastics and metals to a .005 tolerance.
Proficiency in using and reading precision measuring devices.
Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and BOMs.
Strong troubleshooting skills and CNC programming knowledge.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry products up to 35 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
