Aerotek Cnc Machinist in Three Rivers, Michigan
Description:
The machinist will be responsible for starting up, setting up, and running their own parts on a HAAS VF4 Mill with HAAS controls. Will machine one-off prototype parts for custom automation and material handling equipment for various industries and applications. Will perform 3-5 set ups a day and will be responsible for performing offsets, tool changes, changeovers, minor program edits, machining, and QC on parts. Offline/Online programming is a plus.
Schedule/Pay:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday (Flexibility on start/end times)
Up to $27 an hour depending on experience
40-45 hour work weeks with minimal weekend work

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
1-2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines (Mill preferred)
1-2 years of experience working in a machining/tool room environment
CNC set up experience a must have
Ability to read simple blueprints and perform quality checks on parts
Positive attitude and desire to continue career in manufacturing/machining
Plus:
Experience setting up and operating HAAS Mill Machines
CNC Programming in Mastercam/Camworks
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
