What you can expect to do here
You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Inspectors, and other staff.
You will lead project teams through the construction of treatment facilities, pumping stations, water mains, sewer mains, and more.
You will evaluate contractor performance to meet project deliverables and quality standards.
You will maintain regular client communication to update on project status and resolve issues.
You will manage Quality Assurance, payment certificates, change requests, and claims.
You will respond to contractor RFIs and clarification requests.
You will prepare Engineering Certifications.
You will ensure compliance with WSP’s safety policies and legislative requirements.
You will provide performance feedback and mentor team members.
What you’ll bring to WSP
7+ years in Contract Administration and Site Inspection on wastewater treatment, pumping stations, installation of watermains, force mains and sewer mains.
Experience with and knowledge of the CCDC is a plus
Very good understanding of OPSS and municipal standards.
Good understanding of resolving and managing claims and changes.
Experience with large civil construction projects, especially water and wastewater systems.
Knowledge of working on City of Toronto projects is an asset.
Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
Expertise in project planning, risk management, cost management, and scheduling.
Proficiency in contract document preparation and administration.
This position requires use of personal vehicle in good working order to be used often for purpose of commuting and G driving license with good standing.
