PRODUCTION OPERATOR – SPRAY DRYING

Thirsk, United Kingdom

Responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operations of spray drying and reaction processes, working with the best ingredients on the planet making over 900 flavours. This challenging and rewarding job requires strong problem solving capabilities across a range of production processes.

Basic salary is £27,607

Salary including 30% shift premium: £35,889

Shifts: 24 hours, 7 days a week | 4 days on, 4 days off | 12-hour shifts – 06:00 to 18:00; 18:00 to 06:00

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on time delivery of spray dried powders, reactions and pastes; packed and palletised as per process order requirements

• Work as a team to produce and execute weekly production plan

• Achieve KPI’s and personal competencies

• Ensure you, your colleagues and your work area are ‘safe’ and ‘food safe’ at all times

• Report plant and systems breakdowns

• Engage with Continuous Improvement workstreams to improve working environment
