McDermott Associate Administrative Assistant in The Hague, Netherlands
Job Overview:
The Associate Administrative Assistant supports the administration group and works closely with their supervisor to follow clearly defined general services procedures. The Associate Administrative Assistant is a role that allows for the development of new administration-related skills. The Associate Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing basic administration activities and using existing procedures, to solve straightforward problems.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Adopt quality, health, safety, and environmental program of the Company
Sort and archive appropriate documents by company policy
Work on projects as needed by management
Develop, revise, and maintain departmental files and databases
Receive visitors and respond independently when possible
Use Microsoft Office programs on a computer to create documents and correspondence
Produce reports as required
Handle special projects or duties as assigned by the departmental manager
Ensure that company objectives, policies, programs, and procedures are consistently adhered to
Essential Qualifications and Education:
High School Diploma
1-2 years’ experience
Ability to perform cost and data analysis
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as a team and to work independently and collaboratively with others
Strong analytical skills
