Responsibilities:
Develop and execute recruiting strategies to grow the program, bring in new students and reach recruiting goals set by the Athletic Director
Instruct esports student-athletes on aspects of esports competition, including game strategy, teamwork, communication, sportsmanship and leadership
Coordinate coaching staff
Develop coaching plans and practice schedules for teams
Oversee esports scheduling and events such as practice, scrimmages, conference matches and tournaments
Seek out competition and opportunities
Manage team academic requirements and standards
Manage esports facilities and equipment
Develop strategic partnerships
Manage esports budget
Coordinate uniform orders
Identify corporate sponsors
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in esports management, sports management or a related field
1+ years of relevant experience (volunteer, competition and/or professional)
Knowledge of various esports titles including, but not limited to, League of Legends,
Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. and Valorant.
Understanding of tournament formats and esports competition structure
Familiarity with Discord communication application
Proficient with technology and communication applications
Available some nights and weekends
