Bank OZK VP, Relationship Manager- Retirement Solutions in Texas
Job Purpose & Scope
Responsible for the day-to-day management of Trust relationships, primarily qualified retirement plans and IRAs.
Essential Job Functions
Manages all aspects of retirement plans, maintains, and enhances relationships with existing clients while providing exceptional customer service.
Meets with clients, centers of influence and prospects while maintaining a professional yet personable level of communication and interaction.
Develops presentation materials and new business proposals.
Coordinates and leads plan sponsor reviews/investment committee meetings.
Applies operational best practices to ensure that plans run efficiently and according to specific client needs.
Works closely with Retirement Solutions team and Bank partners to uncover new opportunities and grow the retirement plan book of business.
Provides client, participant, and administrative support for more senior-level retirement plan Trust officer(s).
Reads, researches, and learns through web based or other training about ERISA and federal tax regulations and guidelines.
Proactively deals with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Responds proactively and timely to internal and external customers’ inquiries.
Participates in and leads employee meetings, as needed.
Maintains excellent and well-organized records and files.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all matters related to internal and external customers.
Produces timely and accurate completion of assigned work.
Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
Follows Bank policy, procedure, and guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of ERISA, and tax law related to IRA’s.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, business, finance, or law, or commensurate work experience, required.
5+ years’ experience working with retirement plans, preferably in a legal environment or financial institution, required.
Active retirement plans certification (i.e., CEBS/RPA, ASPPA), or active participation in retirement plans certification program, preferred.
