McGovern Medical SchoolatUTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical trackof all academic levels for General Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine (Medical/Surgical Critical Care or Transplant Critical Care)within theDepartment of Anesthesiology.

Position Key Accountabilities:

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals with a strong interest in clinical research and resident/fellow education. Applicants with an interest in translational research are welcome.

Duties include:

1) Providing critical care medical services for patients in affiliated hospitals.

2) Providing anesthesiology and perioperative medical services for patients in affiliated hospitals.

3) Contributing to the academic and scholarly productivity of the Department of Anesthesiology.

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, discovery and service, have potential to be outstanding in their field of expertise, and share an interest in fulfilling the common goals of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.All applicants should have an MD/DO or equivalent degree, have completed an ACGME Accredited Residency Program in Anesthesiology (1 year general house staff and 3 years of anesthesiology residency) as well as 1 year of fellowship training in an ACGME Accredited Critical Care Medicine program. Applicants must be Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas. Academic rank and compensation is competitive and will be commensurate to qualifications
