About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for aSenior Turnaround Plannerlocated in Terneuzen, The Netherlands!

TheSenior Turnaround Plannercreates job packages from the work order scope which contains all of the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work.

This role requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. You may act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares job package and inputs plan into SAP indicating the required resources, materials, and services.

  • Reviews work orders for technical completeness and returns work orders to gatekeeper, if not complete.

  • Identifies task activities necessary to execute job plan and identifies materials/tools/equipment required to perform tasks.

  • Identifies/solicits safety information and requirements necessary to safely perform tasks.

  • Supports Procedure Use Policy by ensuring all job packages include a procedure or the task is on the Procedure Exemption list before the job package is released.

  • Serves as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, as needed. Creates, develops, changes, updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure Management of Change (MOC), as required.

  • Uses feedback from the person doing the work to optimize the work plans.

  • Use Quality Feedback from "Do work" person to optimize/archive job plans.

  • Make cost and duration a consideration in planning.

  • Use measurement process to track planning effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of MBO 4 with technical education or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other technical education.

  • You have several years of relevant experience, for example in maintenance at different plants or worked in different turnarounds.

  • Fluent in the English language and knowledgeable in Dutch.

  • Knowledge of SAP and/or ROSER and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance or Turnaround Planner role preferred.

  • Previous experience working in a (petro)chemical plant production facility preferred.
