About you and this role

Dow Beneluxis offering an excitinginternshipopportunity inTerneuzen, The Netherlands, for highly committed and qualified Bachelor’s or Master’s students specializing inSystems & Control Engineering. This position is ideal for students looking to complete an internship semester, minor, or thesis within ourProcess Automationdepartment.

Our team is engaged in numerous projects focusing on process data analysis, modeling, and controller design for complex dynamic chemical processes. This internship provides valuable professional experience in a dynamic, multinational corporation, allowing students to interface with colleagues and leaders across various roles.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Systems & Control Engineering or a related field

  • Strong relationship-building skills with peers and collaborators from various departments, especially Plant Operations

  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies

  • Awareness of safety, environmental, and sustainability issues

Your Skills

  • Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Dutch is preferred

  • Advanced skills in Excel, including pivots, charting, and macros

  • Analytical, structured, and independent work style, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team

Additional notes

  • The internship starts in April 2025, with flexible planning options

  • Interns will receive an allowance throughout the internship period

  • Dow offers accommodation in a furnished tiny house for students coming from outside Zeeland

  • Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Dow's travel expense policies
