TEKsystems Data Center Cable Technician in Temple, Texas
Description:
Working in a Data Center on a 3 year project. Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches receptacles and other devices. Will build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic, and hardware). Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cable as required. Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels). Pull wire and/or oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling. Operate tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.).
Top Skills Details:
At Least 1+ year of data center cabling experience
Experience pulling fiber
