Bedford Public Schools Health Van Driver in Temperance, Michigan
*PRIMARY FUNCTION: *
To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bedford Community Education Health Van. To maintain high standards of service by both safely transporting and maintaining our community population and the health vans used to transport them.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform cleaning and operational & safety equipment inspections biweekly on all vans/equipment and provide reports to the Health Van Director.
- Maintain client run sheets for billing purposes.
- Maintain driver timesheet in accordance with policy.
- Attend SMART and other training as directed.
- Perform physical duties as required (wheelchairs, lifts, ramps).
- Successfully complete driver training programs established by the district.
- Safely complete loading/unloading and securing of assistive devices and safety restraints.
- Regular, reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
