Amazon Logistics Specialist in Tempe, Arizona

Description

The Central Operations Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialist to support new programs intended to deliver value to Amazon Customers through services such as central flow support, fleet support, and onboarding & hiring support. A successful candidate will prioritize managing the customer experience and communicating with internal Amazon teams to deliver on operational objectives while being able to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Support new initiatives for various Central Operations teams by connecting with internal and external stakeholders

· Be able to communicate with stakeholders via email or phone daily

· Assist with various existing DSP fleet, Delivery Station, and/or CO onboarding tasks

· Problem solve issues and creatively work through ways to resolve

· Ensure successful task and project performance through accurate task tracking and reporting

· Provide solutions to new problems utilizing independent judgment and peer collaboration

· Ability to effectively identify and communicate technical issues

· Work a flexible schedule as business demands, including weekends and holidays

Other:

· Must be able to report to the site, this is not a remote position.

· Must be flexible in terms of work schedule; willing to work overnight.

· Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and stressful situations with minimal management oversight.

· Ability to work well in a team environment remotely and as an advisor

· Desire to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience with Excel
