Job Title: Instructional Support Technician

Location: Tempe, AZ

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: M-F 100% onsite during training

Job Overview

Provide administrative and technical support to all levels of personnel on issues related to online learning, training requests, and computer-related activities. This role includes responsibility for tier 1 help desk support, troubleshooting within a large organization using a Learning Management System (LMS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user emails and calls with professionalism and proper communication etiquette.

  • Assist users with troubleshooting eLearning issues, training assignments, webinars, and general computer problems, escalating as needed.

  • Perform first-level problem assessment for LMS, training courses, and computer workstations, routing complex issues to appropriate teams.

  • Interpret software messages/errors and take appropriate corrective actions.

  • Maintain detailed records of issues, work notes, and resolutions using the problem management system (ServiceNow).

  • Document procedures to help users navigate the LMS and update department operations guidelines.

  • Ensure system security by preventing unauthorized access in compliance with organizational policies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong technical skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with common online learning issues

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, particularly SAP SuccessFactors

  • Knowledge of problem management systems like ServiceNow

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
