As an Assembly & Test Tech II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of our products. You will be responsible for following detailed instructions and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. In this role, you will report directly to our Assembly & Test Supervisor and work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will contribute to the manufacturing process and help deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and testing of products according to specifications and procedures

  • Follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records of work performed

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the assembly and testing process

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and on-time delivery

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience in assembly and testing in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

WE VALUE

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field

  • Experience with electronic assembly and testing

  • Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
